August 10, 2021
Hutchison PLLC, a boutique firm providing strategic legal and business advice to the innovation ecosystem, is pleased to announce the addition of Daniel M. Alfino to the team.
Dan will assist technology startups and other closely-held companies seeking capital formation at any stage of funding, along with drafting and negotiating equity compensation contracts, licensing agreements and other commercial contracts on behalf of his clients. He will also counsel clients on a wide range of additional transactional matters, including university spinouts; corporate finance; mergers and acquisitions and other general corporate matters.
Before joining Hutchison, Dan practiced in Atlanta at Krevolin & Horst, LLC and Troutman Sanders, LLP (now Troutman Pepper), where he focused in the areas of corporate and secured finance law.
Dan earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he was a staff member of the North Carolina Law Review. He received his bachelor’s degree in Government from Harvard University. A native of Gainesville, FL, Dan first arrived in North Carolina in 2011 as a Corps Member with Teach For America’s Eastern North Carolina Corps.
“We are excited to have Dan join our team,” says Dan Fuchs, one of the firm’s managing partners. “His prior experience with growth companies and institutional lenders allows him to provide immediate value to the firm’s clients and is well suited to our corporate transactional practice generally.”
