Kent Pittman, a senior partner at Hughes, Pittman & Gupton, recently published an article in TechJournal South regarding the taxation of M&A transactions.

The article states that, “Two of the primary issues impacting the taxation of the disposition of a business are its entity tax status and the structure of the disposition transaction.”
