Hutchison PLLC Welcomes Attorney Lucas Beal to the Firm Partnership
Hutchison PLLC, a boutique law firm that provides strategic legal and business advice to the venture capital, emerging companies, and innovation ecosystems, is pleased to announce that attorney Lucas Beal has been elected as a partner, effective January 1, 2023.
Lucas has a passion for helping businesses navigate the legal landscape. His practice focuses on data privacy and security, life sciences, employment law, commercial contract negotiation and corporate law. He has a wealth of experience working in a variety of legal settings, including the life sciences and clinical trial industry, where he served as in-house legal counsel for PRA Health Sciences. Before his work at PRA, Lucas presided over unemployment benefits hearings while working with the North Carolina Division of Employment Security. He has further advised clients on employment law and corporate transactions at leading North Carolina firms.

Lucas received his law degree from Elon University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to attending law school, Lucas worked in the financial industry. Currently, he serves on the advisory board of the Chapel Hill Public Library.
