Jonathan Melfi

Jon practices corporate and transactional law, focusing on providing comprehensive and practical advice to founders, early-stage companies, investors, and established companies across diverse industries. He advises clients throughout all phases of their businesses’ life cycles, helping them raise capital, execute acquisitions, divestitures, and assist with corporate governance matters. He also often serves as outside general counsel for early-stage startups and works to anticipate client’s needs to address challenges that their growing company encounters and identify available options to help ensure their business is on the most successful path.

Prior to joining Hutchison, Jon practiced in the Denver office of Polsinelli PC, where he represented early-stage and established companies on a wide range of transactions, including early-stage financings and large-scale M&A transactions. Jon was also named in Best Lawyers, Ones to Watch in both 2025 and 2026.
